Buttercream Flowers & Mud Cake Baking

13 Oct 2021 - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PMDalby Library
Event

For experienced and inexperienced bakers alike, this demonstration will provide all the information you need to make a white truffle mudcake, from a product called 'Bakels' (Australian-owned). As a participant, you will be shown many different baking and icing skills and will leave the demonstration with enough confidence to have a go at making the perfect cake at home, as well as be able to make flowers to decorate it.

This demonstration will be presented by Mary Reid and Ronnie Branson. Mary is a world champion cake decorator, and Ronnie exhibits cakes at the Brisbane Exhibition (Ekka) and other shows, and has opened her own cake decorating business. Free of charge - just bring a notebook!
